New Jersey Resources is seeking a detail oriented and proactive Office Assistant responsible for obtaining and verifying Certificates of Insurance from vendors, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company standards for insurance documentation and records retention. Position will also provide support for office services functions including reception, mailroom and records management.
Major Responsibilities
• Obtain and verify certificates of insurance from vendors.
• Follow-up on outstanding or delinquent requests for certificates.
• Accurately file and maintain vendor documentation and release holds as appropriate.
• Maintain and update Purchasing filing system; scan documents into records system.
• Provide coverage for the Office Services functions, including receptionist, mailroom and records as needed.
Position Requirements:
• Requires High School diploma or GED; Associate degree or technical/business certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of general work experience in an office environment required.
• At least 2 years of experience in Insurance or related business field preferred.
• Strong administrative, communication, interpersonal, and planning skills.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to lift boxes up to 20 lbs. for mailroom and records retention.

Job Location Type is On-site.
Compensation: Expected base pay range for this role will be $41,700- $53,300.
Base pay is based on several factors including, experience, skills, and knowledge.
This role will be eligible to participate in an annual short term incentive program.
