As the manager of the **_Sonix Supply Chain Team_** , you will work directly with Operations, Finance, Engineering, Sales, and New Product Introduction teams to implement a robust global supply chain. In this leadership role, you will lead the day-to-day Procurement, Planning, and logistics for the Springfield, Virginia facility. You will have ownership of several key performance metrics: Inventory, PPV, E&O, OTD, cost, etc. You will provide NPI and Lifecycle support as the primary Supply Chain focal point to assess program needs, align sourcing strategies to achieve core program objectives, identify potential supply chain risks and run risk mitigation plans from product concept to mass production. This role will report directly to the Director of Operations and Plant Leader.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Leads the weekly business level PSI reviews in conjunction with commercial counterparts. Owns and maintains the weekly/monthly supply plan for the entire Sonix business and reconcile against the demand and sales plan over a 12 month horizon.
+ Develop and execute the strategic plan to achieve material cost improvements from global supply base.
+ Champion supplier quality and delivery issues to resolution.
+ Partners with key vendors to ensure long term supply of critical materials based on demand plans. Partners with Global Tektronix sourcing team to escalate supply shortages to executive management to minimize disruptions to supply continuity.
+ Drive synergy and collaboration with other sites within the Tektronix and Keithley Supply Chain teams
+ Become proficient utilizing Fortive Business System (FBS) tools and champion continuous improvement initiatives in quality, delivery, and cost.
+ Responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet demand expectations, minimizing stock-outs while maximizing inventory turns. Develop tools to predict future risks, increase accuracy in supply planning and provide insight for executive decision making.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or relevant field with **5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or equivalent** .
+ 3+ years of experience with significant data analysis related to supply planning including data visualization tools, advanced planning software and ERP.
+ 3+ years of experience managing supply chain teams.
+ Experience owning supply planning function including oversight of inventory levels and collaboration with operations & commercial teams (PSI/SIOP/IBP/etc).
+ Demonstrated experience developing and implementing strategic planning efforts (3-18 months) as well as strong presentation skills and ability to make recommendations and influence senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
+ 3+ years of experience using continuous improvement tools and methodologies to include lean conversions.
It would be a plus if you also possess:
+ Certified in Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, or similar Business Systems
+ Experienced understanding of the RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Actions) and Counter Measures (CM) processes and Action Plan implementation.
+ Previous experience using JD Edwards or Oracle Fusion
+ Advanced Degree (MS/MBA) or APICS certification
+ Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed (<15%)
