    Position Overview:

    Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Network and Computer Systems Administrator to join our team onsite in Falls Church, VA. In this role, you will serve as a technical expert, leveraging comprehensive knowledge of securing enterprise-wide networks. You will play a key role in enhancing our customer's network security posture as well as streamlining the system administration process. This role requires a deep understanding of network protocols, security controls, and visibility tools, as well as the ability to lead technical discussions with clients and deliver high-impact projects.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Plan, lead, and evaluate performance results of key tasks and major technology assignments that include:

    + Install, configure and support an organization's local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN).

    + Install, configure and support an organization's Internet systems or a segment of a network system.

    + Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.

    + May monitor and test website performance issues to ensure websites operate correctly and without interruption

    + May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.

    + May supervise computer user support specialists and computer support network specialists.

    + May administer network security measures.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + US Citizen

    + Network Visibility: Understanding network visibility such as NetFlow, SFlow, SNMP stats and the value and impact this can have on helping an organization achieve their business goals.

    + Network Automation: Understanding how to automate network operation to increase the administrative accuracy and efficiency of the customers networks.

    + Understanding EGPs and how they provide value to the customers networks to achieve enterprise wide or global reachability.

    + Security: Understanding how security controls come together to provide comprehensive security.

    + Certification: CCNA or vendor equivalent

    + DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II requirements

    + 6+ years of relevant experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or similar)

    + Experience working in Linux environments (e.g., command-line usage, basic scripting, or system navigation)

    + Experience working with cyber asset management tools (e.g., Forescout)
