What You’ll Do
+ Partner with the Director of Nursing to plan, organize, and evaluate all nursing services.
+ Coach, develop, and inspire RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to deliver safe, resident-centered care.
+ Lead quality-improvement initiatives using current best practices and regulatory standards.
+ Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure positive clinical outcomes and resident satisfaction.
+ Serve as acting DON in the Director’s absence—gaining hands-on leadership experience that prepares you for your next career step.

Qualifications
+ Current Iowa RN license (or ability to obtain quickly)
+ CPR certification
+ Prior supervisory or charge-nurse experience in long-term or post-acute care preferred
+ Working knowledge of federal & state LTC regulations—or a strong desire to learn
+ A collaborative leadership style rooted in empathy, accountability, and continuous improvement
