    Sodexo has an opportunity for an experienced human resources professional to join the team as a **Human Resources Manager 3** at **UTMB** located in **Galveston, TX** .The HR Manager will provide generalist support to about 700 food service and environmental services (EVS) managers, supervisors, and frontline employees across 4 locations. This role will manage talent management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and compliance with a focus on initiatives to drive retention and employee engagement.

    What You'll Do

    + Implement and manage Sodexo’s HR policies and procedures in alignment with hospital standards and contractual obligations;

    + Manage the recruitment process including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding;

    + Ensure compliance with labor laws, healthcare regulations, and hospital policies;

    + Collaborate with department heads to assess staffing needs and workforce planning;

    + Support employee development initiatives and career progression opportunities;

    + Maintain accurate HR records and generate regular reports on workforce metrics;

    + Facilitate communication between hospital leadership and staff on HR matters;

    + Promote employee wellness, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives; and/or

    + Handle disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with legal and hospital standards.

    What You Bring

    + have an extensive background in human resources management

    + understand and respect sensitive and confidential information;

    + have experience managing HR/Administrative support team members;

    + have excellent computer skills with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs;

    + detailed oriented, flexible, and have ability to manage competing priorities and meet time demands; and/or

    + have excellent organization, communication, and project management skills.
