About the Department of Pathology:
Comprised of extraordinary faculty and staff, our mission is to improve the ability to diagnose, treat and understand the origin and manifestation of human disease, and to care for those who have or are at risk to develop disease. We accomplish this through our clinical services (in all fields of anatomic and clinical pathology, including molecular and genomic pathology, histocompatibility testing and transfusion medicine) and be research (which includes basic, translational and clinical research into the origins and manifestations of disease, including efforts to improve disease prediction and prevention as part of the goal of achieving precision medicine and health), and also by educating future leaders in pathology and related fields. About the Center:
The Sean N. Parker Center for Allergy and Asthma Research at Stanford University is the first of its kind, dedicated to advancing treatments and discovering underlying immune mechanisms to develop lasting cures for allergies and asthma in both children and adults. Our interdisciplinary team of leading scientists, physician-scientists, and specialists from fields such as immunology, gastroenterology, otolaryngology, chemistry, bioengineering, pathology, pulmonology, and genetics collaborates on cutting-edge research aimed at understanding immune dysfunction that leads to allergic reactions.
As a global leader in allergy research, our Center works collaboratively with researchers worldwide, sharing data through an interlinked network of satellite centers to conduct innovative clinical trials. About the Position:
The Junior Research Data Analyst will support clinical and laboratory research projects at the Sean N. Parker Center by assisting with data entry, cleaning, reporting, and documentation. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow their technical and analytical skills in a collaborative, mission-driven research environment. Working under the guidance of the Research Data Manager, the analyst will contribute to real-world clinical studies, helping ensure high-quality data is available for publications, regulatory submissions, and presentations. The role provides a strong foundation in research data operations and offers opportunities to learn REDCap, R, and other tools while supporting studies that directly impact patient care and scientific discovery.
Duties include:
+ Collect, manage and clean datasets. ·
+ Employ new and existing tools to interpret, analyze, and visualize multivariate relationships in data.
+ Create databases and reports, develop algorithms and statistical models, and perform statistical analyses appropriate to data and reporting requirements.
+ Use system reports and analyses to identify potentially problematic data, make corrections, and determine root cause for data problems from input errors or inadequate field edits, and suggest possible solutions.
+ Develop reports, charts, graphs and tables for use by investigators and for publication and presentation.
+ Analyze data processes in documentation.
+ Collaborate with faculty and research staff on data collection and analysis methods.
+ Provide documentation based on audit and reporting criteria to investigators and research staff.
+ Communicate with government officials, grant agencies and industry representatives.

Desired Qualifications:
+ Experience using REDCap or a similar electronic data capture system
+ Familiarity with working in a research or academic environment
+ Strong attention to detail and comfort working with clinical or biospecimen data
+ Exposure to data cleaning and visualization using Excel, R, or Python is a plus
+ Interest in or experience with food allergy, immunology, or clinical research data
+ Eagerness to learn and grow into higher levels of data responsibility and independence
Education & Experiences (Required):
+ Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and relevant experience. Experience in a quantitative discipline such as economics, finance, statistics or engineering
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Required):
+ Substantial experience with MS Office and analytical programs
+ Strong writing and analytical skills
+ Ability to prioritize workload
Physical Requirements*:
+ Sitting in place at computer for long periods of time with extensive keyboarding/dexterity
+ Occasionally use a telephone
+ Rarely writing by hand

The expected pay range for this position is $82,468 to $106,256 per annum.
