    **Schedule:** 40 Hours/Week

    **Pay Rate:** $40.73 – $45.10 per hour

As an **Administrator Construction Manager** with PDS Tech Commercial, you’ll play a critical role in overseeing telecommunications construction projects that bring high-speed connectivity to communities and businesses. Your leadership will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

     

    What You’ll Do

    In this role, you will:

    + Oversee Outside Plant (OSP) construction activities performed by contractors.

    + Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with design specifications and budgets.

    + Coordinate with local municipalities, utilities, and internal departments.

    + Conduct pre- and post-project inspections and attend pre-construction meetings.

    + Manage project schedules, materials, and expenditures.

    + Maintain accurate records including as-builts, invoices, and timesheets.

    + Investigate and report plant damage.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Logistics, and Project Management.

     

    What You Bring

    Required Qualifications:

    + 5+ years of combined OSP construction and splicing experience.

    + Strong knowledge of OSP construction standards, unit descriptions, and SSP contracts.

    + Familiarity with permitting, Work Zone Protection (WZP), and Traffic Control Plans (TCP).

    + Excellent communication and coordination skills.

    + Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift moderately heavy objects.

    + Willingness to work overtime, be on-call, and travel as needed.

    + Valid driver’s license.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience working with state and local permitting agencies.

    + Background in fiber-optic network deployment.

    + Familiarity with the JIM process and construction management tools.
