Job Description

**At Spring Klein Physical Therapy** , we provide a friendly, positive environment while delivering high-quality care to our patients. We have an opportunity for a **PRN Medical** **Receptionist** who shares the same work ethic. Come join our friendly team at our outpatient orthopedic clinic in Baton Rouge.

+ Greet patients and provide outstanding customer service

+ Coordinating the care for each patient from initial evaluation to discharge

+ Answering phones

+ Electronic scheduling

+ Data entry

+ Verifying current personal and financial information

+ Maintaining patient charts and electronic medical records

+ Collecting, posting, and depositing patient payments

+ Faxing, filing, and performing any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent required

+ Minimum of 1 year medical front office experience

+ Proven experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)

+ Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures

+ Experience with insurance verification and medical scheduling

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Strong organizational and time management abilities

+ Exceptional multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment

+ Detail-oriented approach to maintaining accurate patient records

+ Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills

+ Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements

+ Flexibility to work varying schedules as needed (PRN basis)

+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare environment
