STAR Physical Therapy was founded in 1997 with two clinics to serve Middle Tennessee with the industry's best comprehensive physical therapy and sports medicine outreach. Based on the unique quality of care provided and industry demand, STAR Physical Therapy added seven more clinics by the beginning of 2000. Today, we have more than 70 clinics serving Tennessee, Arkansas, and Missouri.

Job Description

STAR Physical Therapy is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual with a commitment to excellence to join our team as **a full-time, Physical Therapist Assistant** in our fun and energetic outpatient orthopedic clinic location in **Gordonsville, TN** . We commit to a culture where we use our time, talents and resources to care for our patients, our communities and one another.

What You’ll Do:

+ Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines

+ Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers

+ Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians

+ Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments

+ Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies

+ Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports

Qualifications

+ Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program

+ Current state of Tennessee license

+ CPR certification

+ New or recent graduates are welcomed and encouraged to apply
