    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated part-time Physical Therapy Technician to join our healthcare team in Fallston. In this role, you will work alongside licensed physical therapists to provide exceptional patient care and support therapeutic treatments.

     

    + Assist physical therapists in delivering patient treatments and therapeutic exercises

    + Prepare treatment areas and maintain therapy equipment

    + Apply hot and cold therapy treatments under therapist supervision

    + Welcome and guide patients through their appointment process

    + Schedule and manage patient appointments

    + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment

    + Handle basic administrative tasks including phone calls and patient documentation

    + Monitor and report patient progress to physical therapists

    + Ensure proper setup and breakdown of therapy equipment

    + Assist patients with mobility and exercise routines as directed

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent required

    + Previous experience in a medical setting preferred (1+ years)

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    + Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service

    + Physical stamina to assist patients and handle equipment

    + Proficiency in basic computer systems for scheduling and documentation

    + Knowledge of medical equipment maintenance and safety protocols

    + Understanding of patient confidentiality requirements

    + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

    + Strong organizational and time management skills

    + Team-oriented mindset with a compassionate approach to patient care

    + Basic understanding of physical therapy procedures and terminology

    Employment Type: Part-Time

    **The anticipated base salary range for this position is $15 -$16 hourly.** Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits are also available, subject to the terms of the Company's plan.
