Desert Hand and Physical Therapy opened its doors in 1997 with one therapist and an office manager, who shared common goals of providing patients with the best and most qualified upper-extremity care in the Valley of the Sun. Today, Desert Hand and Physical Therapy has grown to 10 locations around the Valley. Although we have grown to meet the needs of a population that has exploded in size, our goals have remained the same. With Certified Hand Therapists (CHT) at each location and several licensed physical therapists, our team can provide expert individualized treatment to each patient experiencing trauma, illness, or injury.

Job Description

_We are seeking a part time Physical Therapy Technician to join our team that will split their role between 2 locations. Glendale and Goodyear. This role would be a great opportunity for someone interested in healthcare, specifically Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy._

Job duties:

+ Assist Physical Therapists with patient care

+ Administer heat/cold packs

+ Maintain therapy equipment

+ Ensure clean, neat clinic environment

+ Cross train basic tasks at the front desk

Qualifications

+ Students enrolled in a PT/OT curriculum program preferred

+ Team player attitude, energetic, with a focus on excellent customer service are key

+ Strong interpersonal skills

+ Caring nature, with a genuine interest in helping people

+ Excellent organizational and communication skills

+ **Spanish bilingual is required!**

+ **Split schedule between Glendale and Goodyear locations**
