Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Product Design Technical Program Manager to join our innovative AI Glasses team. As a TPM, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and delivery of groundbreaking AI Glasses products that exceed customer expectations and redefine the industry. As a key member of our team, you will pioneer our rapid product development model, leveraging your expertise to design and build "glasses for everyone". Required Skills:

Technical Program Manager, Product Development Responsibilities:

1. Partner with Product Design Engineering team to enable the definition and execution of next generation hardware products

2. Coordinate and drive engineering design deliverables including specifications, DOEs, and validation plans

3. Work with cross-functional teams (System, PD, EE, Reliability, Operations) and other cross-functional teams to develop best practices and technology development processes in a fast-paced environment

4. Manage delivery of hardware components for development builds and drive qualification to meet mass production timelines

5. Create development, delivery, and qualification schedules based on system requirements, technical challenges, lead-times, and business needs

6. Manage program structure to optimize clarity and efficiency for program teams and leadership

7. Communicate program statuses, identifying potential setbacks

8. Manage communication with internal and external cross functional partners

9. Ensure program documents are complete, current, and available for staff and leadership review

10. Up to 20% travel internationally

Minimum Qualifications:

11. BS in Mechanical Engineering field, related technical discipline, or equivalent experience

12. 4+ years experience working as a technology development program manager or engineering lead in consumer electronics

13. Experience in ODM, JDM, and CM vendor engagement models

14. Knowledge of phase gate approach to technology development programs

15. Experience with mechanical system development, design for manufacturing (DFM), tooling, and validation processes

16. Experience communicating and collaborating with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products

17. Demonstrated skills in organization, coordination, and multitasking

18. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

19. Experience with program top-issue tracking

20. Experience operating across multiple projects

21. Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones

22. Maintains composure in times of ambiguity and direction changes

24. Experience in 1P and/or 2P product development, defining requirements and program constraints, and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders

Public Compensation:

$102,000/year to $157,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
