As a Realtime Engine Technology engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and developing real-time interactive software that powers our immersive experiences, enabling seamless and intuitive interactions between users and virtual environments. Required Skills:

Software Engineer, Realtime Engine Technology - Reality Labs Responsibilities:

1. Architect efficient and reusable systems that drive complex real-time cross-platform applications

2. Build technologies and SDKs that empower developers to create compelling experiences for the Metaverse

3. Expand the reach of our products by integrating Meta’s technology into multiple platforms and frameworks

Minimum Qualifications:

4. Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta

5. 2+ years software development experience in industry settings or PhD degree +9 months of experience

6. Experience C++ or similar programming languages

7. Experience creating software for games, real-time systems or other high performance computing environments

8. Track record of software development, including shipping one or more products using standard software development toolsets such as source control and continuous integration systems

9. Applied mathematical, problem solving and optimization experience

10. Communication experience and demonstrated experience working across disciplines to drive optimal solutions

11. Experience in creating and adding new features to real-time game engines

12. Experience in building games or game engines for mobile applications

Public Compensation:

$56.25/hour to $173,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
