Caterpillar is seeking a Demand and Orders Analyst in Athens, GA. In this role, you will serve as the facility expert on matters related to machine orders and attachment Planning. Evaluates orders, identifies compatibility problems and maintains order data integrity.

What you can look forward to in this role:

+ Creating and managing production schedules based on forecasts, capacity, and material availability

+ Managing the order process from entry to fulfillment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery

+ Identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency

+ Serving as primary contact for customer inquiries; providing feedback about lead time, planned timeline, order change, order rescheduling, etc.

A successful candidate in this role will showcase their skills in:

+ Effective Communications: Understanding effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

+ Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.

Top Candidates for this position may also have:

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ College or university degree related to Supply Chain, or equivalent experience, is required

+ Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, organization and communication skills

+ Solid product knowledge and excellent SAP transactional knowledge

+ Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and effective time management

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

+ Hands-on experience with ERP systems e.g., SAP & data analysis tools e.g., Excel, Power BI

The primary location for this position is Athens, GA.

Summary Pay Range:

$79,800.00 - $119,760.00
