    Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created with the purpose of providing integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers, both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.

     

    Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) is seeking anApplication and Data Management Leadto support the FCC’s enterprise application and data environments under the FETS program. This role is responsible for secure application delivery, data lifecycle management, and DevSecOps integration across platforms.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Lead software development lifecycle (SDLC) efforts using Agile/DevSecOps methodologies.

    + Support application modernization using containers, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.

    + Oversee database administration, data governance, and data protection strategies.

    + Manage performance monitoring, version control, and API integrations.

    + Coordinate with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and operations teams to ensure end-to-end compliance and alignment.

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

    + 8+ years of experience managing enterprise application and data environments within the federal sector.

    + Certification in Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or COR-approved equivalent.

    + Strong knowledge of modern development stacks, DevOps pipelines, and database platforms.

    + Must be a US Citizen

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    + Familiarity with federal data governance policies and cloud-native development environments.

    + Experience with low-code/no-code application platforms in a government setting.

    + Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting

    + Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment

    + Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals

    + Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.

    + Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications

    + Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.

    + Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.

    + Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
