ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER AT PRIMEFLIGHT
The Assistant General Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service to travelers. Your responsibilities include managing staff across various departments, coordinating with airlines and airport authorities, and addressing operational challenges promptly. You will be instrumental in implementing policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction, while also maintaining compliance with safety and security regulations. Additionally, this role involves analyzing performance data, contributing to strategic planning, and collaborating on initiatives to drive continuous improvement in airport services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations
+ Implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
+ Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery
+ Manage staff training and development to maintain high service standards
+ Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control measures
+ Ensure compliance with airport authority regulations and safety standards
+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with airline clients and airport officials
+ Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements where necessary
+ Address and resolve customer complaints and operational issues
+ Participate in the recruitment and selection of key personnel
+ Implement technology solutions to improve operational processes
+ Prepare and present reports on operational performance to senior management
+ Employing problem solving abilities for issue resolution
+ Stay informed about industry trends and competitive developments
+ Demonstrating knowledge of the industry
+ Lead special projects and initiatives to enhance service offerings
+ Working under pressure to meet internal and external targets or deadlines
+ Represent the company at industry events and meetings
+ Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
+ 18 years of age or older
+ Eligible to work in the United States
+ Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
+ 5 Years of Customer Management or Sales Experience
+ Knowledge of the Aviation Industry
+ Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
+ Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including theuse of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
+ Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
+ Pass a background check and drug screen
+ Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
+ Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays

+ Specific vision abilities required for this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
