SAFETY-SECURITY MANAGER AT PRIMEFLIGHT
The Safety and Security Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing both safety and security functions to ensure the protection of passengers, personnel, and airport assets. This position involves developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive safety and security programs and protocols in compliance with industry regulations and standards. You will conduct risk assessments, safety audits, security inspections, and collaborate with various airport departments to mitigate potential risks and ensure a safe and secure environment. Additionally, you will play a critical role in emergency response planning and crisis management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Develop and implement comprehensive safety and security programs for airport operations
+ Ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations, TSA requirements, and security protocols
+ Conduct safety and security audits, inspections, and risk assessments
+ Identify and mitigate safety and security risks and hazards in airport facilities and processes
+ Collaborate with airport authorities and law enforcement agencies to enhance security measures
+ Provide training and guidance to staff on safety and security procedures
+ Investigate safety incidents, security breaches, and accidents, and recommend corrective actions
+ Monitor and report on safety and security performance metrics and trends
+ Stay updated with industry best practices and security advancements
+ Participate in emergency response planning and security drills
+ Coordinate with regulatory agencies for security certifications and audits
+ Review and update safety and security manuals and documentation
+ Conduct safety and security meetings and communicate updates to airport teams
+ Manage access control systems and surveillance equipment
+ Prepare and present safety and security reports to senior management and regulatory authorities.
+ Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
+ 18 years of age or older
+ Eligible to work in the United States
+ Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation safety and security management
+ Extensive knowledge of aviation safety and security regulations and best practices
+ Proven experience in safety and security program development and implementation
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and crisis management skills
+ Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
+ Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
+ Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
+ Pass a background check and drug screen
+ Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
+ Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays

+ Tasks may involve repetitive motions of the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers
+ Specific vision abilities required for this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
