    Job Summary

    The Philadelphia Flyers are seeking highly a motivated individual interested in the entertainment and marketing side of sports. The Creative Content Specialist will assist the mascot program manager with everything related to Gritty.

    Job Description

    Core Responsibilities

    + Collaborate with Mascot Program Manager to script, rehearse, and execute activations on game days. This includes rehearsals, in-game skits, in-game promotions, and social media capture.

    + Work with our game presentation department to ensure Gritty is on script.

    + Manage game presentation video production planning and content calendars.

    + Oversee game presentation production equipment and maintenance.

    + Set up/break down external shoots and equipment.

    + Ability to edit teams' video, projection and stanchion lighting.

    + Assist in planning and execution of video/graphic production.

    + Ideate & capture social media content during games and events.

    + Identify video production best practices and implement into daily routine to ensure efficiency.

    + Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

    + Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

    + Act as mascot handler/security at games and events.

    + Perform skits and bits while acting as mascot handler.

    + Act as liaison between our mascot and our fans to ensure our fans get the most out of every interaction.

    + Adhere to Mascot Program Rules regarding discretion.

    + Mascot vehicle upkeep.

    + Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + Mascot experience at the collegiate or minor league level is a plus.

    + Available for all Philadelphia Flyers home games.

    + Full-time flexible schedule to accommodate non-traditional hours. Includes nights, weekends, and some holidays.

    + Must have reliable transportation to and from the Wells Fargo Center and event locations.

    + Takes direction well and works with team to discuss and plan new ideas.

    + Creativity with the ability to act accordingly in a fast-paced environment.

    + Content capture/video editing.

    + Must be able to carry up to 40 lbs.

    + Ability to ice skate is a plus.

    + Must provide Mascot Highlight Reel, Resume, and Height.
