Job Title: Business Systems Engineer
Department: Manufacturing Engineering
Summary: Reports to the Business Systems Manager and supports all aspects of the ERP business systems. Collaborates with user groups, functional managers, development teams, and project teams to identify design enhancements, configuration opportunities, and ways to improve the utilization of ERP modules. Addresses organizational information needs by analyzing requirements and recommending appropriate system controls and protocols. Integral to the design and deployment of existing and new business systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties may be assigned:
+ Support functional aspects and help maintain custom components of Operation modules in existing ERP systems.
+ Assist other team members by performing technical development work related to operational module.
+ Provide routine production support through business solutions.
+ Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users.
+ Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures
+ Consults with department managers to develop system solutions consistent with organizational objectives.
+ Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
+ Monitors overall Business System effectiveness and recommends potential improvements.
+ Potential travel to support multiple facilities.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year College or University and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2-3 years’ experience with Plex Smart Manufacturing, Oracle or SAP is required.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
