    **Position:** Sr **.** Director of Operations

    **Reports To:** Vice President, Global Clients Datacenters

    **Location:** Greater Seattle Area

    **FLSA:** Exempt

    **Salary:** 230,000.00

    Summary

    The Sr. Director of Operations is responsible for managing a global security operations team, which provides physical security for datacenters on a complex, multi $100M global client account. The security operations team is comprised of regional directors. The Sr. Director of Operations provides strategic direction and leadership for the account and is responsible for the creation and execution of a security program strategy, managing and aligning Securitas and client goals, and driving sales and profitability on the account. The Sr. Director of Operations must have a solid understanding of the client datacenter program, with the ability to effectively advise, make recommendations, collaborate, and adapt to changing needs and priorities.

    Essential Functions

    1. Plans, examines, analyzes, evaluates, and supervises global security operations, inclusive of physical security assets and security personnel.

    2. Programmatic oversight: manage audit compliance and standardization, ensure quality control.

    3. Provides and guides excellent customer service and business development across all countries, regions, and branches.

    4. Nurture client relationships across all pillars.

    5. Creates and delivers executive level presentations and reports on business strategy, insights, and execution to client and Securitas senior management.

    6. Leads business meetings and gives updates to the client on projects.

    7. Collaborate with shared services to ensure alignment.

    8. Experience working with and communicating with the C Level employee down to the entry level employee.

    9. Evaluates current procedures, practices, and precedents for accomplishing activities and functions relative to security, with continuous process improvement at the forefront of decision making.

    10. Identifies and resolves security related problems.

    11. Develop preventative security programs, including the succession planning of future leaders.

    12. Assists in preparation of emergency management and contingency planning.

    13. Direct and coordinate with client and Securitas team to align with activities and security functions.

    14. Actively seeks and creates opportunities for collaboration across client, partners, and internal groups to drive long-term, scalable solutions.

    Minimum Hiring Standards

     

    Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

     

    + Must be at least 18 years of age.

    + Must have a reliable means of communication, such as cell phone.

    + Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).

    + Must hold or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license or equivalent.

    + Must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is located.

    + Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.

    + Must have a high school diploma, secondary education equivalent, or GED.

    + Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

    Education/Experience

    + Bachelor’s degree in business, management, criminal justice, law enforcement, security or related field and 10-15 years of progressive management roles in physical security, contract security, or account management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.

    + 3-5 years of experience in a director level position directing a security program.

    + Global experience preferred.

    + Datacenter experience preferred.

    Special Requirements

    + Able to travel (international or domestic, as required) approximately 25% of the time or more, occasionally with limited notice.

    + Able to work evening or weekend hours when required, such as during an emergency event or crisis.

    + Ability to track and maintain scheduled assignments.

    + Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual and stressful circumstances.

    + Knowledge of business operations management and human resources administration.

    + Demonstrates leadership skills, including planning, organizing delegating, problem solving, training, coaching, and praising or disciplining staff in a positive manner.

    + Strong customer service and service delivery orientation.

    + Ability to adapt to change in the external environment and organization.

    + Ability to multi-task and complete assignments concurrently in a fast-paced environment.

    + Experience communicating and presenting to an executive level audience.

    + Knowledge of security operations and procedures applicable to a 24-hour facility.

    + Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.

    + Process driven and the ability to pull apart processes and improve them.
