    Job Overview:

    **Location:** 304 Century Center Boulevard, Irving, TX 75062

    **Shift:** 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday, 12:00pm-10pm (flexibility required)

    Position Summary:

    The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing load planning and transportation service metrics for Common Carrier and In-House (Splash) Fleet operations across the Central Texas region. This role manages a territory with no fewer than 10,000 annual shipments and plays a key part in ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective delivery operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Operational Oversight (50%)

    + Manage inbound, outbound, shuttle, and 3rd party freight movements.

    + Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations (driver files, safety meetings, DVIR, ELD audits).

    + Collaborate with fleet team on equipment maintenance and readiness.

    + Identify and implement backhaul strategies to improve revenue.

    Stakeholder & Driver Management (20%)

    + Maintain strong relationships with drivers, manufacturing, planning, unions, and 3PL providers.

    + Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

    + Support and train on systems including SAP, Spireon, Peoplenet, Bluejay, and Ryder platforms.

    Continuous Improvement (15%)

    + Analyze and improve transportation cost and service KPIs.

    + Benchmark fleet vs. carrier performance.

    + Contribute to network optimization efforts.

    Metrics & Reporting (15%)

    + Monitor and report on cost-to-serve, on-time performance, carrier utilization, and broker usage.

    + Develop performance scorecards and support ongoing improvement projects.

    + This is a salaried, exempt position paid biweekly. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

    Requirements:

    + 5+ years of experience in transportation, dispatching, or logistics (preferred)

    + 3+ years of supervisory experience managing direct reports (required)

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred

    + Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations

    + Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
