    Our Volunteer Department offers a wide range of opportunities for adults, teens and offsite groups, with volunteers contributing over 70,000 service hours annually to support our mission. Volunteers play a key role in enhancing the care provided to patients and their families. As the Administrative Program Coordinator II, you will manage various projects, identify improvement opportunities and enhance department efficiency and cohesion while supporting volunteer programming and Red Coat ambassadors, with a focus on guest service associates. The role also functions as a liaison and serves as an administrative, technical and operational resource. Ultimately, these contributions help ensure Cleveland Clinic continues to deliver the best possible patient care experience, while also supporting the growth of patient services and volunteer programs through thoughtful suggestions and improvements.

     

    A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with occasional Saturday shifts. This role may be** **hybrid** **, depending on training schedules and volunteer supervision requirements.

    A caregiver who excels in this role will:

    + Coordinate daily rounding schedules, develop and maintain training materials and train and coach new caregivers.

    + Arrange interviews and shadow opportunities for volunteer candidates.

    + Update directional materials, cover the lobby desk when needed and assist with patient transport.

    + Function as a liaison and administrative, technical and operational resource.

    + Initiate or lead less complex projects.

    + Coordinate policy evaluation and implementation.

    + Identify operational improvement opportunities to create an efficient workplace.

    + Develop communications, databases and budget summaries.

    + Lead orientation and records management activities and ensure standards are maintained.

    + Develop and update interdepartmental education programs.

    + Facilitate and attend meetings and record key outcomes.

    + Identify key milestones and deadlines.

    + Communicate project status and requirements to achieve results.

    + Research, analyze and organize information for presentations.

    + Assist department leadership with large or complex projects.

    Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

    + Associate's Degree and three years of administrative or project management experience OR High School Diploma/GED and five years of experience OR Bachelor's Degree and one year of experience

    + Strong computer skills and experience with software applications

    Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

    + Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field

    + Experience developing programs (healthcare, financial or education)

    + Healthcare or related organization experience

    + Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously

    Physical Requirements:

    + High degree dexterity to operate office equipment.

    + May require extended periods of standing, walking or sitting. Good visual acuity through normal or corrected vision.

    + Good hearing acuity.

    Personal Protective Equipment:

    + Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

     

    Pay Range

     

    Minimum hourly: $20.77

     

    Maximum hourly: $31.68

While the pay range is displayed as an hourly rate, Cleveland Clinic recruiters will clarify whether the compensation is hourly or salary. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
