    Job Summary:

    Micron is seeking a highly motivated RDA/ Metrology Technician that is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This role involves conducting safety audits, troubleshooting process issues, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining documentation and training standards.     Responsibilities:

    + Conduct safety audits, walkthroughs and support environmental sustainability guidelines.

    + Finishes the required safety training and conduct all work in accordance with safety policies

    + Monitor and manage queue time alerts and lot ordering.

    + Resolve yield, quality, defect, and equipment-related issues.

    + Apply SPC, FDC, and 8D methodologies to diagnose and resolve process issues.

    + Analyze data to make critical process decisions.

    + Perform project work to optimize wafer processing.

    + Support area operations to meet throughput and efficiency goals.

    + Monitor bottlenecks and ensure efficient workstation performance.

    + Participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) actions.

    + Identify and resolve training gaps and procedural inefficiencies.

    + Ensure quality of task updates and shift pass downs.

    + Update/create procedures, training references and maintain assessor checklists and documentation.

    + Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms to ensure clear and concise information exchange.

    + Manage time and prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and organizational goals.

    + Follow basic procedures and work independently with minimal supervision to maintain productivity and quality standards.

    + Apply skills in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Excel) to efficiently complete tasks.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + 2 years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment, automation systems, or technical military experience.

    + 2 years of experience using mechanical, electronic, and software skills to troubleshoot equipment.

    + 1 year of experience using SPC software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Linework Space).

    + Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 days on/4 days off and 4 days on/3 days off), progress between day and night shifts every 4 months, and adapt to different shifts and overtime as needed to support business operations.

    Preferred Requirements:

    + AAS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or 2 years of relevant experience.

    + 4+ years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment, automation systems, or technical military experience.

    + 4+ years of experience using mechanical, electronic, and software skills to troubleshoot equipment.

    + 2+ years of experience using SPC software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Linework Space).
