**Proposal Engineer:** This role is responsible for creating comprehensive technical and financial proposals for engineering projects of broadcast TV, FM antennas and RF equipment. The role requires a deep understanding of technical requirements, accurate cost estimation, and effective communication between multiple departments of sales, engineering, and customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to gather technical requirements and project details.

+ Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare accurate technical proposals.

+ Understand and utilize cost estimates, ensuring they align with project requirements.

+ Review and revise proposals to ensure compliance with client requirements and company standards.

+ Present Proposals to stakeholders in meetings to discuss technical and financial aspects.

+ Maintain a database of past proposals, including feedback and revisions, to improve future proposals.

+ Able to multi-task, while prioritizing independent assignments.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

+ Proven Experience in preparing technical and financial proposals, preferably in broadcast engineering.

+ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.

+ Familiarity with project management principles and practices.

+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple deadlines.

+ Problem solving – ability to recognize courses of action and apply contingency plans

+ Self-motivated – ability to reach a goal or perform a task with little supervision or direction.

+ Customer-oriented – desire to serve both internal and external clients

+ Demonstrated organizational & communication skills with attention to detail and understanding of quality criteria

+ Strong computer skills with comfort and experience in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, and database administration.

+ Effective English written and verbal communication

Desired Skills:

+ Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or related field

+ Ability to work both independently and cross departmentally

+ Analytical with strong problem-solving abilities

+ Demonstrated ability of effective communication skills

+ Demonstration of Relationship Building Skills

Physical Requirements:

+ Ability to sit for extended periods of time while working at a desk, using a computer

+ Manual dexterity for common office equipment

+ Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds, such as laptops, documents, or office supplies.
