We are also members of Pet Sitters International. We are now adding dog walkers and pet sitters to our growing team.

     

    + Current Openings for Midday Dog Walks/Pet Sits Monday through Friday

     

    + 9:00-2:00

     

    + 10:00-3:00

     

    + 11:00-4:00

    We are hiring for opportunities in:

    + Cedarville/Sagamore Beach and Ponds of Plymouth/Redbrook

    + Pinehills and Manomet

    + West Plymouth and North Plymouth/Downtown

    Compensation:

    New staff will start at $16 to $18 per hour base pay. Tips, bonuses, and mileage reimbursement mean you could earn up to $200 - $1800 / month

     

    + Paid training

    + All supplies provided, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, and waste removal bags.

    + Prepaid Pet First Aid Course after probationary period

    + Mileage reimbursement

    + Additional pet sitting opportunities mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

    Responsibilities

    + Walk dogs of various sizes and temperaments, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and stimulation.

    + Monitor the behavior and health of dogs during walks, reporting any concerns to pet owners.

    + Maintain control of dogs at all times using proper animal handling techniques.

    + Utilize basic training commands as needed to ensure safe walking experiences.

    + Clean up after dogs during walks, maintaining a tidy environment.

    + Care for other pets in the home as needed (cats, bunnies, birds, etc.)

    + Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior and needs.

    + Foster positive relationships with both pets and their owners through friendly interactions.

    The ideal candidate:

    + Loves pets!

    + Is physically fit, able to walk several miles per day, lift and carry as needed, bend and stoop

    + Is seeking a long term commitment

    + Previous professional or volunteer experience with animals is preferred, but a positive attitude and a desire to learn are just as important.

    + Excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career or grow their professional experience with animals.
