What You Will Do:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in Wichita Falls as a Coating Removal Operator. In this role, you will play a key part in our operation by removing coating and corrosion from engine parts using water jets, chemical stripping techniques, and grit blasting machines. In this role, you will need to be attentive to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and adhering to all EH&S regulations.
The person in this role will train on our 1st or 3rd shift for up to 6 months. Upon completion of training, you will work on our Alternate Work Week shift, which is Friday-Sunday from 5am-5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Grit Blast (using manual Grit Blasting machines), clean, and/or chemically remove coating and/or plasma spray from engine components
+ Visually inspect parts for signs of acid effectiveness
+ Maintain ample supply of materials on hand
+ Perform preventative maintenance as needed
+ Operate Waterjet
+ Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
+ Ensure all environment, health and safety rules, requirements and procedures are adhered to Maintain solution levels and mix solutions in tanks as required
+ Dispose of waste solutions per SOP requirements
+ Strong focus on product quality
+ Ability to assess a situation, draw valid conclusions, and make sound decisions
+ Must complete OJT operator training
+ Perform other duties as required to support company objectives
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Previous OEM/Aviation experience is a plus
+ Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Excellent time management skills
+ Understand liquid measurements
