People Strategy Consultant
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This senior individual contributor role provides important strategic advisement and coaching to senior leaders and executives. Leads initiatives in the areas of organizational structure changes, talent management, employee engagement, Our People strategies and project leadership for critical projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:
Change Enablement and Organizational Structure -
+ Lead and support change management for medium-impact changes (within a single Division or unit)
+ Scope of changes:
+ Division Change - Change impacts 1-2 Divisions - with less than 50 employees impacted
+ Unit Changes: Change impacts 1-2 units within the same division or across 2 different divisions (transfers of employees across units, combination of units)
+ Employee engagement would be negatively impacted if we do not support
+ Invesco projects in the category of Strengthening Our Foundations (non-Transformation)
+ Advise clients on organizational structure decisions when they consider organizational changes, implementing new structures or reimagining roles to support shift in business strategy
+ Align with Talent Acquisition to ensure the structure, impacted roles are mapped to SAP for a seamless transition
+ Provide guidance about OP processes that the leader needs to complete directly with the COEs (e.g., comp. analysis, recruiting needs, etc.)
Talent Mgmt. Project Leadership for Complex Organizational Change Projects -
+ Project leadership of Organizational Change projects impacting several Divisions, across different Groups, (e.g., Data & Analytics, Complex Org Changes)
+ In partnership with the assigned OD Consultant
Employee Engagement Action Plans (Critical Divisions) -
Partner with the Division Managers of the critical divisions that have an opportunity to impact employee engagement.
+ Analyze the needs from the increased pulse and annual engagement surveys – focus on end-to-end strategy to improve EX/engagement for the Division
+ Create action plans based on the opportunity areas
+ Leverage OPI dashboard to triangulate insights from surveys.
+ Identify if expert OD or Executive Coaching support is needed to provide client/team interventions.
+ Quarterly updates to the Group Manager on Action Plan progress.
Our People Corporate “Push” Strategies -
Support the adoption of Our People push strategies through the engagement of Group Managers
+ Champion and cascade information about corporate OP Strategies (performance management, purpose and culture, new EVP, employee engagement, DEI, etc.)
+ Leverage Group Mgr. meetings to inform Division Managers about their responsibilities in these people strategies
Leadership Alignment (Roles & Responsibilities) -
+ Facilitate alignment (roles & responsibilities) b/t leaders and leadership teams (before OD/Change involvement)
New Group/Division Manager Onboarding -
+ Lead and design onboarding process for new Group/Division Managers (new to org, rotated, promoted)
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Human Resources or related degree; 5+ years of related experience is desirable.

+ Design: Demonstrates attention to detail; apply design principles; generate creative solutions
+ Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions
+ Executive Presence and Facilitation - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; demonstrates group presentation skills; can quickly establish credibility with senior executives and leaders throughout the organization; able to present/lead/facilitate senior leadership teams; extensive experience influencing and gaining commitment from senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
