The Opportunity
Nutanix is redefining the enterprise cloud landscape — not just with innovative technology, but by building a movement. We believe that a well-informed, deeply engaged customer, partner, and employee base is essential to our success. That’s why we’re creating an Army of Believers — a global community of certified, empowered individuals who understand, advocate for, and thrive with Nutanix
The Role
We are seeking a high-impact Head of Customer Learning & Development to lead our global education business and fuel the next phase of growth. Reporting to the Chief Customer Experience Officer, this leader will own the strategy, execution, and P&L of our education business. You will drive explosive growth in certifications earned by customers and partners, establish world-class training programs, and foster a thriving global community of certified Nutanix professionals.
You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering to shape content, curriculum, and certification offerings that directly support product adoption and customer success. This is a highly cross-functional and strategic role — ideal for a visionary leader with deep instructional design expertise and a strong track record of business execution.
Your Role
Drive Certification Growth & Learning Impact
+ Lead the expansion of Nutanix’s global certification program with a laser focus on growing the number of certified customers and partners year-over-year.
+ Define and evolve certification strategy aligned to roles, use cases, and product roadmaps.
+ Build and deliver learning paths that support both functional competence and brand advocacy.
Collaborate to Fuel Demand & Community Building
+ Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop targeted campaigns and programs that drive demand for education services and increase learner engagement.
+ Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Advocacy teams to grow and activate the Nutanix learning community — including certified learners, User Groups, and Technology Champions.
+ Highlight customer certification success stories to increase visibility and excitement around Nutanix education.
Own Content, Curriculum & Certification Development
+ Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to ensure all training content and certifications are tightly aligned with product capabilities, updates, and roadmaps.
+ Lead the creation and delivery of comprehensive, scalable curricula across modalities — eLearning, instructor-led, hands-on labs, and virtual formats.
+ Implement best-in-class instructional design methodologies to ensure relevance, effectiveness, and learner satisfaction.
Lead with Vision, Strategy, and Velocity
+ Champion a bold vision for learning at Nutanix — making education a strategic differentiator for the company.
+ Drive strategic clarity by setting clear goals, KPIs, and success metrics for all learning initiatives.
+ Execute with urgency and operational rigor, ensuring speed-to-market for new content and programs.
Own and Operate a Global Learning Business
+ Manage the end-to-end P&L for Customer Learning, including pricing, go-to-market strategies, partner revenue, and financial performance.
+ Grow and manage a global network of Nutanix Authorized Training Partners to deliver education at scale and with consistency.
+ Build a high-performing team of curriculum developers, instructors, program managers, and operational staff to scale learning globally.
Requirements & Qualifications
+ 12+ years in Customer Education, Training, or Learning & Development leadership roles, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise infrastructure.
+ Deep instructional design expertise, including experience developing courseware, certification exams, hands-on labs, and curriculum frameworks.
+ Proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering.
+ Strong understanding of enterprise customer journeys, post-sales motions, and education’s role in product adoption.
+ Demonstrated success in growing a global certification program and building strong learner communities.
+ Experience managing a global education P&L and scaling through training partners.
+ Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to drive results quickly in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong bias for action, a “fire in the belly”, and the passion and ability to execute with high velocity.
+ Excellent executive presence and communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
