Job Summary:

The Product Development Specialist plays a strategic role in managing the development of new products from concept to production. This position involves vendor engagement, design collaboration, and process optimization to ensure high-quality product outcomes.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

+ Lead vendor communications to facilitate product development and resolve production challenges

+ Collaborate with designers to refine artwork and ensure feasibility for manufacturing

+ Evaluate vendor capabilities and recommend sourcing strategies

+ Monitor development timelines and proactively address delays or issues

+ Conduct product reviews and quality assessments during development stages

+ Support cost analysis and margin improvement initiatives

+ May require travel to vendor sites or manufacturing facilities

+ Other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in product development, sourcing, in manufacturing/distribution

• Strong project management and problem-solving skills

• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities

• Familiarity with design software and technical specifications

• Ability to travel occasionally as needed
