Job Description
A restaurant client of Insight Global is looking for an Oracle Cloud Procurement SME to join their team. This person will be 70% functional and 30% hands on technical. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in Oracle ERP (EBS and Cloud), including a minimum of 5 years in Oracle Cloud Procurement and at least two full-cycle Cloud implementations. This role will serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to lead end-to-end Oracle Cloud Procurement solution deliveryspanning discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support. The SME will also help drive automation initiatives and process optimization, with a strong focus on integrations, supplier management, and procurement excellence. This team already has Oracle Cloud Procurement in place but they are integrating new modules such as: supplier portal, supplier manage catalogs, requisitioning, automation of purchase orders, new payments system, etc.
Solution Delivery
Lead Oracle Cloud Procurement implementations with a focus on modules including Purchasing, Self-Service Procurement, Invoicing, Supplier Onboarding, and Supplier Portal.
Configure and support complex procurement scenarios like automated PO creation, invoice retainage, supplier-managed catalogs, and match processes.
Techno-Functional Leadership
Translate business requirements into functional and technical designs.
Act as the bridge between business teams and Oracle technical resources for OIC integrations, BI reports, and RPA workflows.
Integration & Automation
Collaborate with integration teams to design and validate OIC integrations across procurement and payables.
Support RPA-enabled workflows for supplier onboarding and PO processing.
Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with business stakeholders, IT, and vendors to ensure procurement processes meet business goals.
Conduct workshops, demos, and training sessions to align business and IT users.
Support & Optimization
Troubleshoot procurement and supplier portal issues across test and production environments.
Continuously evaluate and improve Oracle Cloud Procurement capabilities and usability.
Documentation & Governance
Maintain detailed functional documentation including BRDs, test scripts, configuration workbooks, and training materials.
Support audit and compliance initiatives related to procurement activities.
Compensation:
$65/hr to $70/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements
10+ years of experience with Oracle Procurement (EBS and/or Cloud).
o Specifically need experience with supplier portal and procure to pay
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Procurement Cloud.
At least 2 full lifecycle Oracle Cloud Procurement implementations.
Deep understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Supplier Qualification, Sourcing, and Supplier Portal functionalities.
Proficiency in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and automation workflows (RPA).
Strong skills in creating and troubleshooting BI reports, OTBI, and approval workflows.
Proven experience working with cross-functional teams in large enterprise environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with stakeholder engagement experience. Oracle Cloud Procurement Certified Implementation Specialist.
Experience with supplier management tools and third-party catalog integrations.
Familiarity with AWS, Jira and ServiceNow.
Experience writing BR 100s null
