Job Description

A quantitative trading firm is looking for an Accounting Data Analyst to join their team for a vendor master clean up project. The firm is in the process of automating the invoice scanning process, freeing up time and resourcing within finance, while also reducing human errors. In order to accomplish this across all vendors, vendor master data needs to be checked and corrected, and keywords to use in our automation need to be identified. This person will be cross checking data between Oracle and their various invoice platforms. They will be verifying GL codes, cost centers and charge codes. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting with strong excel skills to perform pivot tables in order to streamline the data clean up.

Skills and Requirements

- Bachelors in Accounting or similar field

- Experience within an accounting role or internship

- Detail Oriented - Project is detail intensive and requires an individual which can stay attentive through repetitive tasks

- Process Driven - a set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) will be provided for above tasks for working in Tower's systems

- Proficient in Excel / Gsheets - GSheet tracker will be used for progress, as well as for sharing master data to reconcile

- Analytical - Necessary for matching keywords to previously rolled up account codes null
