    Summary:

    We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Inside Sales Representative to support our customers and grow sales within the electrical supply industry. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for contractors, electricians, and project managers, providing product recommendations, quoting, order processing, and technical assistance. You’ll work closely with vendors and the outside sales team to ensure accurate inventory availability, timely deliveries, and exceptional customer service.

     

    Reports to: Profit Center Manager

    Minimum Qualifications:

    - Basic knowledge of electrical products, components, and terminology

     

    - Strong verbal and written communication skills

     

    - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

     

    - Must be able to multi-task and manage competing priorities

    Preferred Qualifications:

    - Experience in quoting , order entry , and inventory management

     

    - Ability to read blueprints or electrical schematics

     

    - Forklift Certification

     

    - Willingness to obtain ongoing training on new technologies such as smart systems, EV infrastructure, or solar components

    Working Conditions:

    Typical office and warehouse conditions.

     

    Supervisory Responsibilities: No

    Essential Job Functions:

    - Provide timely, professional support and resolve customer inquiries or concerns

     

    - Prepare accurate quotes , bids , and sales proposals for electrical products

     

    - Enter and process customer orders in the system; follow up to ensure on-time delivery

     

    - Job responsibilities may evolve over time to meet changing business needs, industry trends, and individual performance, and employees are expected to adapt and take on additional duties as required.
