The **Manager, Technology Sales** is responsible for leading a team of Technology Specialists to execute Ricoh’s Equipment and Services Strategy. This role focuses on driving profitable growth, expanding services, and ensuring high performance through coaching, accountability, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead a sales team to execute Ricoh’s Equipment and Services Strategy, ensuring alignment with company standards and goals.
+ Drive profitable growth in equipment and core services across assigned accounts, including contract retention, expansion, and new service adoption.
+ Hold Technology Specialists accountable for sales activities, KPI achievement, and deal closure to deepen client engagement.
+ Establish clear expectations and routines, regularly inspecting activities that support sales objectives.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to align resources, support, and talent for successful sales execution.
+ Engage with peers and specialty teams to resolve issues and enhance growth strategies.
+ Coach and develop team members, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
+ Guide Technology Specialists through the sales methodology, ensuring mastery of fundamentals and continuous skill development.
+ Create and implement development plans to challenge and elevate team performance.
+ Proactively contribute to achieving company financial targets.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
+ 7+ years of experience in selling products and services.
+ 5+ years of experience in sales management.
+ Strong background in consultative sales.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+ Deep understanding of organizational dynamics.
+ Agile leadership with a strong sense of urgency.
+ Familiarity with Ricoh’s operating model and internal navigation.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
+ Technologically proficient, with knowledge of enterprise IT architectures.
+ Recognized as a thought leader and trusted advisor in equipment and core services.
+ Strong business and financial acumen.
+ Proven ability to coach and develop high-performing sales teams.
+ Ability to hold self and team accountable for achieving sales goals.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
+ Primarily office-based with standard lighting, ventilation, and noise levels.
+ Work involves interpreting and applying complex information and data.
+ Minimal physical effort; mostly sedentary with occasional walking, standing, and light lifting (under 10 lbs).
+ Moderate dexterity required for tasks such as typing and using office tools.
+ Travel required approximately 30%, including overnight stays.
