The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare is recruiting for aRegistered Nurse, Senior (RN) position in our Bureau of Long-Term Care (BLTC) team inBoise.     The Nurse, Registered Senior position is responsible for completing initial and redetermination functional assessments for adults seeking Personal Care Services or Aged and Disabled Waiver services. Completing initial and redetermination functional assessments for children seeking Personal Care Services, Private Duty Nursing, and Katie Beckett assessments for children that require Nursing Facility level of care.

     

    This position is a full-time position, Monday through Friday and does not require work on weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts.

     

    This position may be eligible for telework after successful completion of probation and necessary training. Approval to telecommute is not guaranteed and subject to termination at any time.

    EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:

    + Completes initial and redetermination functional assessments for adults seeking Personal Care Services or Aged and Disabled Waiver services.

    + Completes initial and redetermination functional assessments for children seeking Personal Care Services, Private Duty Nursing, and Katie Beckett assessments for children that require Nursing Facility level of care.

    + Completes Pre-Admission Screening and Resident Review for (PASRR).

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    You must possess all the minimum qualifications below to pass the exam for this position. Please make sure your resume or work history supports your meeting the minimum qualifications for this position. Failure to do this may disqualify you from being considered for this position.

     

    + Licensed as a Professional or Registered Nurse in Idaho as defined by Idaho Code 54-1408 or state licensure as a Registered Nurse pursuant to the Nurse Licensure Compact, Idaho Code 54-1418. For licensure information, please contact the Idaho Board of Nursing at http://ibn.idaho.gov or call (208) 577-2476.

    + Experience performing nursing assessments and developing and implementing nursing care plans. Typically gained by at least six months work experience.
