    Water Meter Technician – Full-Time (Nationwide Openings)

    About Us

    Lawton Business Solutions is rapidly expanding and currently seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our nationwide team of Water Meter Technicians. Under the supervision of our Water Meter Installation Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in upgrading residential water systems by replacing outdated meters with new electronic smart meters.  Current Locations include North Carolina, Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky and Texas.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Install new residential water meters, fittings, and gaskets

    + Remove old meters and accurately record pre- and post-installation readings

    + Use a tablet or smartphone to verify transmission and ensure installation data is captured correctly

    + Maintain daily productivity goals and meet quality and safety standards

    + Provide courteous, professional service to homeowners and community representatives

    Qualifications

    + Minimum 1 year of experience in plumbing, utility work, or water meter installation (Preferred)

    + Basic knowledge of plumbing and water distribution systems

    + Comfortable using mobile devices, tablets, and basic apps

    + Good written and verbal communication skills

    + Able to work independently and follow detailed instructions

    + Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand, kneel, or bend for long periods

    + Commitment to safety and customer service excellence

    Job Requirements

    + Valid U.S. driver’s license (Required)

    + Authorization to work in the U.S. (Required)

    + Willingness to travel up to 50% (Required)

    + Must pass background check and drug screening

    Compensation & Benefits

    + Hourly Pay: $12.50 – $22.00/hour (Based on experience)

    + 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday (No weekends required)

    + Full-time employment with benefits eligibility after standard waiting period
