Job Descriptions:

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

To ensure programs meet the customer’s scope and schedule expectations, as well as company budgeted profit. This position will manage multiple programs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

+ Performs final job review and resolves ongoing technical and contractual job requirements (schedule, technical requirements, and budget.)

+ Responsible for program budget, schedule, monitoring, and completion of goals and milestones in accordance with approved plans.

+ Establishes Program organization structure and priorities (resource management, scheduling, staff)

+ Coordinates internal functions to ensure all required tasks are being completed.

+ Maintains ongoing communication with customers to accomplish program goals.

+ Ability to investigate an issue, develop a solution, and communicate path forward clearly.

+ Reviews and approves waiver deviations prior to submittal to customer.

+ Reviews PDR/CDR presentations.

+ Creates sub-contract work breakdown structure.

+ Creates master milestone schedule.

+ Communicates program status to the rest of the organization.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Required Experience:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

+ Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards.

+ Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors.

+ Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary.

+ Ability to adhere to workplace rules.

Education and Experience:

+ BS/BA degree in engineering or technical discipline or equivalent experience (4+ years).

+ Two years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ Experience in a leadership role on a Department of Defense program, either in an Engineering or Program Management capacity.

+ Familiarity with multiple functions within an organization.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Office environment.

Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.

Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones).

Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.

Ability to follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
