Who You Are

At Justworks, video is central to how we educate and support our customers at scale. We’re seeking a creative, detail-oriented Videographer to join our Customer Education team and produce high-quality educational content for small business owners at every stage of their journey—from discovering Justworks to becoming confident users of our platform.

You’ll work closely alongside our Learning Experience Designer to help shape our emerging customer education program by creating engaging video content that lives on YouTube, our Help Center, social platforms, within our software, and in our Academy courses. This is an individual contributor role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and brings expertise across pre-production, production, post-production, and publishing.

What You’ll Do

+ Produce videos in various formats—from short social content to tutorials and explainer videos—aligned with Justworks’ brand and strategy.

+ Collaborate with subject matter experts to transform complex concepts into clear, engaging visuals.

+ Manage all stages of production, including scripting, filming, editing, animation, sound mixing, and color grading.

+ Design motion graphics in After Effects and generate or source visuals, including AI-generated assets.

+ Capture in-studio footage and screen recordings; sync visuals with narration.

+ Maintain and update a growing video library as products evolve.

+ Publish and optimize videos for multiple channels, ensuring accessibility and searchability.

+ Design compelling thumbnails (Photoshop, Figma).

+ Support webinar and livestream production.

+ Use AI tools to enhance workflow and quality without compromising results.

+ Ensure impeccable file organization, metadata management, and quality assurance (captions, transcripts, description copy).

Qualifications

+ 2+ years of video production experience in a fast-paced environment.

+ A compelling portfolio highlighting educational videos with motion graphics and subject matter experts.

+ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite—Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator, Media Encoder.

+ Experience with screen recording tools (OBS, Zoom, Riverside, Camtasia, etc.).

+ Strong understanding of YouTube and social video best practices.

+ Ability to balance speed with quality; results-driven mindset.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills; open to feedback and collaboration.

+ Technical proficiency in in-studio video and photo capture (lighting, equipment setup).

+ Passion for simplifying complex topics, storytelling, and teaching through video.

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $97,000.00 to $106,700.00 per year.

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
