What will you be doing?
+ Repair blowers, vacuum pumps, augers, gas furnaces, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
+ Troubleshoot, electrical components such as contactors, switches, relays, and controllers
+ Walk the production line daily and look for abnormalities in the equipment
+ Troubleshoot production issues with support from the maintenance team and/or engineering
+ Will support the installation of new equipment, retrofitting of old equipment, and facility capital projects to help improve the manufacturing process
+ Educate operators to improve day-to-day machine operations and update documents if needed
+ Order parts and build materials list to complete upcoming projects
+ Be exposed to outdoor working conditions, and dusty or dirty environments
+ Occasionally be on-call for a full week, including weekends and nights as part of the team rotation
What do you bring?
+ Minimum 3 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Tech
+ Experience working on large industrial equipment like high-temperature furnaces, rotary piston vacuum pumps, powder transfer systems, etc.
+ Electrical component knowledge to troubleshoot motor starters, relays, pressure switches, temp controllers, etc.
+ Ability to read P&IDs, wiring schematics, and engineering drawings
+ Knowledgeable with machine shop equipment like milling, lathes, drill presses, band saws etc.
+ Experience fabricating with specialized materials such as Stainless Steel or Aluminum
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Candidate must be a permanent resident of the U.S. to comply with export control laws
+ Willing to adapt to changing responsibilities based on production priorities
+ Maintain an organized and safe work area. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment. Safely perform duties and observe approved safety procedures.
+ Work as a team or independently as the tasks require
+ Able to identify areas to improve or create PM procedures to reduce equipment failures
+ Experience in working in an ISO 9001/14001/45001 and AS9100 environment is a plus.
+ Able to climb stairs and ladders, and safely lift 50 lbs.
+ Some Flexibility in working schedule due to projects, breakdown situations, etc.
