• Coating Technician - Mon-Thurs 1st Shift

    **Job Title:** Cleanline Technician – 1st Shift

    **Location:** Boulder, CO

    **Schedule:** Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

    **Pay Rate:** $20–$23/hour (based on experience)

    **Reports to:** Production Supervisor or Manager

    3 to 6 month contract

     

    This position is responsible for running and helping maintain automated cleaning machines to clean optical components.

     

    Reports to the Production Supervisor or Manager

    Specific Duties and Responsibilities

    • Working in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment and following safety and quality protocols

    • Performing routine inspection of optical components and cleaning equipment

    • Handling delicate optics during loading into tooling and cleaning equipment

    • Operating cleaning equipment and performing basic maintenance: chemical changes, cleaning, etc.

    • Must be able to read and comprehend process sheets

    • Assisting Production, Facilities, and Engineering with scheduling, maintenance, and continuous improvement projects

    • Must have good communication skills

    • Must be able to lift 25lbs

    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED preferred

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word preferred

    • Previous work experience in a cleanroom environment desired but not required
