Seller Customer Service team is growing, and we need Software Development Engineers (SDEs) who are capable of breaking down and solving complex problems, and have a strong will to get things done! SDEs at Amazon work on real world problems on a global scale. They own their systems end to end and influence the direction of our technology which impacts hundreds of millions customers around the world.
As an SDE at Amazon, you can expect to design flexible, scalable solutions, and work on some of the most complex challenges in large-scale computing by utilizing your skills in data structures, algorithms, and object oriented programming.
Key job responsibilities
* Responsible for the end-to-end design, development, test, implementation of large complex problems including planning, risk and issue management, trade-offs and execution.
* Create, maintain and disseminate service/application information to stakeholders.
* Effectively coordinate with customers, technical staff and leaders, business leaders and executives in different geographical locations to define and deliver complex features.
* Ability to make sense of ambiguity, define and plan solutions to complex problems in a fast paced and highly-technical organization, and secure buy in from internal and external stakeholders.
* Mentor Jr. Engineers and help grooming new hires to grow to next level
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
