    As a Sr Manager for Electrical Assemblies Supply Chain, you will oversee the commercial, sourcing, and the supply chain strategies for electrical assemblies’ categories (e.g. PCBAs) The team owns all commercial, sourcing and supply chain aspects and deliverables of varying electrical assembly categories (PCBA’s). This highly visible role partners closely with engineering, business owners, and suppliers to manage the supplier commercial relationships, enable best in class sourcing and cost, and effectively manage capacity and continuity of supply to meet desired outcomes. In addition to the core responsibility electrical assemblies, this team works in conjunction with other category teams to facilitate the right materials plans to meet business demand.

     

    Your leadership will directly enable AWS to scale with customer demand while driving operational excellence, resilience, and innovation.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Lead & Inspire: Build, lead, develop a high-performing team driving sourcing strategy and operational execution.

    • Strategic Partnership: Develop a close rapport with internal stakeholders to understand product designs, risks and opportunities and build new processes required to scale the organization.

    • Drive Results: Develop scalable processes, solve complex supply chain

    • Thought Leadership: This individual will be expected to solve complex supply chain issues, establish patterns and practices, and provide domain leadership to the entire team. Success in the role requires extensive supply chain, operational, and process knowledge to effectively balance and navigate schedule, risk, costs and operational tradeoffs.

    Basic Qualifications

    - 7+ years of team management experience

     

    - 5+ years of supply chain experience

     

    - Strong executive presence with demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

     

    - Master's degree or equivalent

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $141,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $233,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
