About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Information Security Engineer to provide technical application support in the Identity Access Management area.
In this role, you will:
+ Participate in security consulting on small projects for internal clients to ensure uniformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards
+ Track or remediate vulnerabilities and security issues
+ Review and correlate security logs
+ Assist with the design, documentation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security
+ Provide technical support for security related issues
+ Utilize industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity
+ Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
+ Interface with more experienced technologists
+ Provide application and production support, including incident management and weekend on-call coverage.
+ Troubleshoot application issues and perform remediation on servers.
+ Support and maintain cloud-based, distributed, and mainframe applications and job processes.
+ Manage problem tickets, perform server maintenance, and handle configuration management, application administration, patching, and deployments.
+ Conduct regular health checks, maintenance tasks, and release activities.
+ Monitor application logs using tools such as Splunk or through manual inspection.
+ Identify and assess security vulnerabilities, perform risk assessments, and recommend or implement remediation strategies.
+ Collaborate with peers, stakeholders, and management to resolve issues and drive security initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
+ 2+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
+ Hands-on experience with **Oracle Identity Management (OIM)** tools.
+ Proficiency with **IBM Identity Management** solutions.
+ Strong background in **systems analysis** , **application/infrastructure production support** , and **engineering** .
+ Experience with **build and deployment automation** and **configuration management** in **Linux/Unix** environments.
+ Proficient in **scripting and automation** (e.g., Shell, Python, etc.).
+ Skilled in creating and maintaining **technical documentation** .
+ Experience with **Windows Server** and **Active Directory** .
+ Familiarity with **secure file transfer protocols** (e.g., NDM, SFTP).
+ Exposure to **DevOps environments** and practices.
+ Solid experience with **Linux system administration** .
+ Support experience for **Java/J2EE applications** on Unix platforms.
+ Proficient in **Oracle** and **SQL Server** for queries and reporting.
+ Familiarity with **middleware/application servers** such as WebLogic, Tomcat, Apache, and JBoss.
+ Experience with **monitoring tools** like Splunk and AppDynamics.
+ Strong **analytical** , **problem-solving** , and **multitasking** abilities.
+ Effective collaborator with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
+ Self-motivated and capable of working independently on assigned tasks.
+ Demonstrated leadership and active participation in team responsibilities.
+ Proactive in identifying and implementing **process improvements** and **automation opportunities** .
+ Experience executing **daily maintenance tasks** and conducting **proactive production environment reviews** .
+ Knowledge of **enterprise change management processes** and experience implementing changes.
+ Familiarity with other **Identity and Access Management (IAM)** tools and platforms.
Job Expectations:
+ Provide off-hours support as needed for system changes, issue investigation, and coordination with India team.
+ Participate in an on-call rotation and fulfill assigned operational and support tasks for the team.
+ This position offers a hybrid work schedule

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
