Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented part-time Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in bookkeeping and accounting processes, including account reconciliation and financial record management. The position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to supporting the financial operations of a dynamic organization.
Responsibilities:
• Perform reconciliation of various accounts, including the General Account, Square, Breeze, and Restricted accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and funds are transferred appropriately.
• Monitor and manage the Restricted account, which holds funds for capital improvements, ensuring all transfers are properly approved and accounted for.
• Automate check-writing processes for the Reserve account while ensuring all activities are accurately captured within QuickBooks.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions to ensure timely processing.
• Utilize QuickBooks to manage and organize financial data, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
• Prepare and generate financial reports to assist in decision-making and planning.
• Collaborate with team members to address backlogged financial items and ensure proper documentation.
• Ensure timely and accurate transfer of funds between accounts in alignment with organizational needs.
• Use Excel to support bookkeeping tasks and create detailed financial spreadsheets as needed.
• Provide recommendations for improving financial processes and workflows to enhance efficiency.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper, with expertise in QuickBooks.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Proficiency in bank reconciliations and financial account management.
• Ability to work with restricted funds and ensure accurate approval and documentation of transactions.
• Skilled in using Excel for financial data management and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage flexible working hours effectively.
