    Description

    We are seeking a Project Billing/Accounting Clerk to join a growing company located in Plainfield on a full-time, fully on-site basis. This is a 40-hour per week contract role with a primary focus on billing and assisting with accounts receivable (AR) tasks. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with Foundation Software and HeavyJob Software, as well as intermediate proficiency in Excel, including basic formula usage. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and team-oriented accounting environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Manage and process project billing efficiently, ensuring detailed accuracy and compliance with client/project requirements.

     

    Support the accounts receivable function, including recording payments, reconciling accounts, and assisting in collections efforts.

     

    Use Foundation Software and HeavyJob Software to support accounting and billing processes.

     

    Apply intermediate Excel skills for data manipulation, reporting, and formula applications as necessary.

     

    Collaborate with the accounting team and contribute to process improvements to support the company’s growth and evolving needs.

    Intermediate knowledge of Excel, including experience with formulas, data management, and reporting.

     

    Detail-oriented approach to work, with an ability to manage complex billing systems and ensure accuracy.

     

    Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate within a close-knit accounting group.

     

    Previous experience in billing and AR support is required.
