**The Deck Superstore,** is a one-stop shop with everything in stock for deck projects including decking, railing, framing, foundation, hardware, lights, and architectural lumber. We are seeking a **Delivery Driver** to work at our Denver location.

Position Summary:

As a Non-CDL **Delivery Driver,** you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of our products within a limited geographic area. This position requires careful route planning, timely execution, and strong customer interaction skills.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely transport goods to specified locations within the defined geographic area following predetermined routes

o No texting or phone calls while operating the vehicle and/or equipment

o Maintains safe speed limits and distancing on the road

• Help to load and unload vehicles with products, ensuring that all items are securely transported

• Complete delivery paperwork and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery

• Maintain accurate travel logs and report any incidents or discrepancies to management

• Ensure vehicle maintenance and cleanliness, reporting any malfunctions or necessary repairs in a timely manner

• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company positively

• Maintain E-Logs and other documents according to state and federal regulations, and company policy

• Conistently communicates with Branch Manager and/or direct Supervisor throughout delivery process

• Performs related and non-driving work assignments as directed

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred

• Valid non-commercial driver’s license

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role

• Experience safely and effectively operating delivery equipment

• Clean Driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years)

• Route planning experience

• Must pass background, drug, and other job requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to safely operate oversized vehicle in various conditions (e.g. highway driving, side/local roads, city/country, varying weather conditions, etc.)

• Follow DOT regulations and load requirements

• Ability to lift/move heavy materials (up to 70lbs)

• Ability to read, write and speak English

• Ability to effectively navigate through rural and metropolitan areas

• Proficient using GPS and other routing systems

• Skilled at driving and parking large, heavy vehicles

• Strong customer service skills

• In addition to following DOT guidelines, must abide by company safety requirements

Work Environment: Exposed and subject to outside environmental conditions, such as cold, wind, heat, and humidity. The noise level is moderate to loud.

Setting for this job: general warehouse, outdoor environment, and/or driving a vehicle.

Physical Demands: This job requires the ability to sit, climb, stand, and lift and/or move up to 70lbs.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position Monday through Friday; some overtime may be required.
