A well-known downtown Dallas, Texas based law firm, is looking for Transactional/Corporate Finance Legal Assistant to join their legal team. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, as you will play a key part in supporting attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finance or real estate law and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and prioritize incoming tasks to ensure deadlines are consistently met.

• Assist in preparing, revising, and finalizing legal documents for execution and distribution.

• Draft standard correspondence and legal memoranda based on written and oral instructions.

• Digitize and organize client documentation by scanning and saving files into electronic folders.

• Maintain deadlines and schedules through effective use of calendaring systems.

• Assemble and manage both physical and digital legal documents for transaction closings.

• Initiate conflict of interest checks, open client files, and oversee file management processes.

• Perform periodic reviews to identify older files for storage and prepare necessary documents for closure.

• Welcome clients and visitors while ensuring confidentiality in attorney-client interactions.

• Arrange conference rooms, travel plans, and expense reimbursements as needed.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent grammar and attention to detail.

• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant software applications.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

• Solid understanding of transactional law practices, particularly in finance or real estate.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting finance or real estate attorneys in a law firm setting.
