Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Airway Heights, Washington. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial operations, including month-end close and reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices and proficiency with financial systems.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

• Perform detailed account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.

• Oversee payroll processes, including compliance with union requirements.

• Reconcile balance sheets to ensure proper documentation and reporting.

• Conduct bank reconciliations to verify transaction accuracy.

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.

• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and Jonas Club Software for financial tasks.

• Maintain and analyze job costing records to ensure accurate expense tracking.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and resolve discrepancies. Requirements • Proven experience in account reconciliation and balance sheet management.

• Expertise in bank reconciliations and general ledger operations.

• Proficiency in payroll processing and understanding of union requirements.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and Jonas Club Software.

• Strong understanding of month-end close procedures and journal entries.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
