Description

Robert Half has an opening for a Senior Database Developer with a client in Cape Coral, FL.

Position is full-time, kicking off in-office during ramp up period before becoming a Hybrid schedule thereafter.

Compensation is in the $100-130K+ range depending on experience (can go higher for someone with Database Architecture experience).

Seeking an experienced Senior Database Developer to develop, design, implement, and maintain complex database environments across multiple platforms.

+ T-SQL coding for building out large databases

+ SQL Server development for custom database builds

+ MS Azure

+ SSRS and SSIS

Key Responsibilities:

+ Engineer database build outs using complex T-SQL coding duties

+ Design and implement robust database architectures that support high availability, disaster recovery, and scalable performance across multiple database platforms

+ Lead the development and maintenance of database clusters, implementing load balancing strategies and monitoring system health

+ Architect and deploy cloud-native database solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure

+ Establish and maintain backup strategies, recovery procedures, and security protocols for all database systems

+ Optimize database performance through monitoring, tuning, and proactive maintenance

+ Develop and implement automation solutions for routine tasks for DBA’s to execute

+ Provide technical leadership in database architecture decisions and mentor junior team members

+ Manage database migrations, upgrades, and patch implementations with minimal service disruption

+ Create and maintain documentation for database procedures, configurations, and disaster recovery plans
