Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry Level Accountant to join our team in Sparta, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position ideal for individuals with strong analytical skills and a passion for accuracy in financial processes. The role involves handling accounts receivable, billing, and collections while utilizing advanced Excel functionalities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable processes, including tracking and reconciling payments.

• Handle billing operations to ensure accuracy and timely invoicing.

• Conduct collections activities while maintaining an attentive and precise approach with customers.

• Perform heavy data entry tasks to ensure financial records are up-to-date.

• Utilize advanced Excel tools, such as v-lookups and pivot tables, for data analysis and reporting.

• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients regarding financial inquiries.

• Transfer data accurately between software systems as needed.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements • Basic understanding of accounts receivable and collections processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including v-lookups and pivot tables.

• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent customer service skills to handle client communications effectively.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with billing practices and procedures.

• Experience with data transfer between systems is a plus.

• Previous exposure to medical collections is an advantage.
