• Desktop Support Analyst

    Description

    We’re seeking a Desktop Support Technician for an immediate contract opportunity on the east side of Madison, WI. You’ll be part of a hands-on, dynamic environment supporting new clinic setup, device deployments, and day-to-day troubleshooting.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Deploy PCs, monitors, printers, and ensure devices are connected and properly cabled

    + Support network connectivity and maintain clean, organized cable management

    + Perform limited software installations and troubleshoot hardware issues

    + Respond to help desk tickets and assist end users onsite

    + Clean out equipment and decommission the old

     

    Stay on your feet—this is an active role involving walking, lifting, and carrying equipment

    Environment:

    Supporting a subset of a larger 1,000+ end user organization

    Must-Haves:

    + Experience supporting Office 365, Windows OS, and Microsoft tools in mid to large environments

    + Strong ticketing system use and clear documentation skills

    + Understanding of asset management and the importance of accurate tracking

    + Excellent customer service skills and professional, friendly bedside manner

     

    Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience providing desktop support in mid to large-scale environments.

     

    • Proficiency in Windows 10, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office 365.

    • Experience with desktop imaging and workstation support.

    • Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems and accurate documentation practices.

    • Strong understanding of asset management and tracking processes.

    • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.

    • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a detail-oriented demeanor.
